Help children discover that cuboids really are everywhere!
Cuboids All Around Us is a visual resource designed to support children in recognising cuboids and noticing them in the world around them. The resource features a collection of familiar objects and images with a clear shape, providing opportunities for children to identify, name and talk about cuboids.
Use the resource to:
- Introduce or reinforce cuboids.
- Develop shape recognition and mathematical vocabulary.
- Encourage children to spot cuboids in their environment.
- Support conversations about the features of spheres.
- Inspire children to find and photograph, draw or collect their own examples of cuboids.
The resource works well for adult-led maths sessions, small-group activities, shape hunts, classroom displays and continuous provision.
A simple, visual way to help children see cuboids everywhere!
