Say It, Find It, Write It – Phase 2 Phonics Activity Sheets

Support early phonics development with our Say It, Find It, Write It activity sheets, designed to help children recognise, identify and practise writing Phase 2 graphemes.

Each sheet focuses on a single grapheme and follows three simple steps:

• Say It! – Encourage children to look at the focus grapheme and say the sound aloud.

• Find It! – Children scan a selection of graphemes, identify the matching ones and develop their ability to discriminate between letters and sounds.

• Write It! – Children practise forming the focus grapheme, developing pencil control and confidence in early writing.

This straightforward, repeatable structure helps children make connections between hearing a sound, recognising its written representation and forming the corresponding letter or letters.
